Thank you for visiting my website. My name is Mika Lawrence and I am a licensed acupuncturist in Catonsville, Maryland. I have a Masters degree in Acupuncture from Tai Sophia Institute in Laurel, Maryland. My goal as an acupuncturist is simply to help others to be the healthiest and happiest they can be.
 I also hold a Bachelors degree in Archeology from Appalachian State University and for several years I traveled the eastern seaboard working on various archeology projects. Between digs, I received acupuncture for physical and emotional support. I was amazed at the way acupuncture made me feel: calm yet energetic. I was balanced! A few years later I had the opportunity to experience the benefits of acupuncture throughout pregnancy and childbirth. Now, as a firm believer in what acupuncture can do for the body, mind and spirit, my main areas of expertise include treating anxiety and depression, as well as women's health issues including infertility, pregnancy and postpartum concerns.
